Shot through the heart

So my addiction for all things crystal like and semi precious has revealed itself again, but it's no wonder why when you cast your peepers on these necklaces and bullet pendants made by Unearthen. Each as individual and bespoke as the other, these one of a kind hand made beauties are presented in a unusual wooden box with elements of nature, and includes a booklet outlining the properties of the crystal. I do warn though, if you are as much as jewelry fanatic as me it is probably best you don't take a look at the website, it could leave you bankrupt...

Spine Tingling

 

 

I love the handmade crafted jewelry of Ayaka Nishi - particularly loving her 'bones' collection and this amazing spine bracelet. I've always been fond of bones and skull type jewelry, slightly morbid I know but I've always thought that they look really effective. This bracelet is combined with coyote bones and snake's spine to create this intricate looking piece of jewelry. I want this, I need this - I have to have it to add to my ever growing collection, but with a price tag of just over a grand I think I will need to get saving!

All that glitters

For anyone who knows me they know I am a complete 'magpie' for jewellery, anything large with precious stones or anything that looks like I could possibly do some serious damage with and I'm there with bells on. That's probably why I have become obsessed with the Australian make -  ManiaMania. 
They use mostly silver and bronze to twist into all kind of captivating shapes around crystals and rocks creating some really special pieces. Although I am longing to buy a piece of this jewellery the bank balance just won't allow, so for the time being I will just have to make do with the campaign photography, which even that in itself is just as good.
